We all have an image of what fitness should look like. We picture something like a marathon runner who gets up at 5am every day and runs 6 minute miles. This can be what fitness looks like. But fitness also looks like squeezing in a 10 min walk/jog during a lunch break, or jogging around the block at a 15 minute pace on Sunday mornings. And it can look like everything in between.
I’ve had seasons of my life where I go on a 30 minute jog once a week and seasons where I am intensely training for races. Whatever your fitness journey looks like, the key is finding joy from the process, giving yourself grace throughout the journey, and building sustainable habits.
